scrapyourday: pretty paper. true stories. {and scrapbooking classes with cupcakes.}: It's here!

It's here!

scrap your day morning

Two twenty-fifths in a row when I actually went to sleep on the twenty-fourth when it was technically already the twenty-fifth! What this is telling me about my supposedly changed night-owl habits, I am not too sure, but alas I was still up early today to start snapping bits and pieces of my day. (And I took a few pictures of last night’s reason for staying out late. Always worth it. And then some.)

Whether you were up late last night or asleep before my ears started ringing, I wish you a very happy and beautiful twenty-fifth to photograph and document. And here’s this month’s album prompt to help with that if you fancy!

Do comment here to share your plans for today and to leave a link to your pages when you get them completed. (And don’t forget: you may want to check in here the rest of the week too, as something new just might be happening.)

Just another boring day at work for me :(. Really loving this idea (even if I am behind already!)

  2. Scrapdolly Says:

I am at home today doing the timetable (worst job of the year) so am expecting an exceptionally boring set of pictures as I won’t be going out anywhere and will just see a dining room table with lots of coloured bits of paper! YIKES!
This one is going to be a challenge!

i have a day off from work today, so wondering what i can get upto :)

  4. sheilaj Says:

I keep trying to photograph my clock time first thing and keep ending up with a smeary puppy licked lens instead…oh well

  5. Liz Says:

I also have a normal day at work again today. I am having a real problem taking a photo of the clock first thing, I can not get it in focus (or is it my eyes at 5.40!). Really enjoying this project, although I have to confess that I have not actully done anything with the photos yet!!

  6. Eleni Gratsia Says:

I’m at work too! Trying to take interesting photos!! :D

plans went to h*ll in a handbasket. I was going to go to the Time Team dig and get some good pics and autographs. Today turned into not a good day. Got as far as the car when a panic attack struck without warning and I just managed to get back into the house before totally disintigrating. Now I feel stupid and cheated and angry but still not able to go out.

After reminding myself last night and putting the promt on my blog, I forgot all about it this morning and jumped up to take the dog to the vet, but Im making up for it now.

  9. Beth Deckard Says:

Alas just a day at work for me too. But I did remember at 11:30 last night to get the camera and put it by the bed. I am off to a good start!

  10. Kristy Bell Says:

So far so good! I’ve already snapped my waking up photo. I have another atypical 25th, so we’ll have to see what the day brings.

  11. Sandy Says:

I’m keeping up! Just like Liz, though, I can’t get my clock-shot in focus (I think I need a better camera with macro) and I also have had, so far, a bog-standard dsy at work. Meeting friends tonight so hopefully some better pics then.

  12. Jay Says:

I’ve given up on trying to photograph the clock – I can’t do it!
However, I have had a good day photographing stuff.
    Love the photo prompt BTW.

  13. Sarah Says:

Aaargh….got to work…realised I’d forgotten camera!!! ...but at least I’d charged it!!!

  14. Bev Says:

A complete and utter failure for me, I remembered the night before but in the chaos of the morning I forgot to take my camera out with me, and I was gone all day. I think I might do it next Wednesday and pretend it was the 25th…

Had my first ‘normal day’ to scrap, pages finished and are on Flickr and UKS http://www.flickr.com/photos/14001767@N06/2615572800/in/pool-scrapyourday

I meant to join in with this project from the beginning but never got round to it for April and May. I was so psyched this month that by the time I went to bed on the 25th I had already completed my layout except for the final photo = the clock when I went to sleep! *Thank you * Shimelle for such a wonderful idea – you are awesome. You can see my layout at http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?set=recent&gallery=1&cmd=display&layout_id=1361847.

Well I’m not doing too bad it only took me a week to get last month’s page done. I thought as it was a Wednesday it’d be great to take Tori to the markets to have a pony ride and get some great pics…weeelllll… she woke up with a couple of spots..nothing too alarming…and whilst at the scrapbooking stall at the markets (no I didn’t buy anything..lol) the lady said it looked like she had chickenpox (and I looked down to see she was now covered in red welts). Long story short..no ponies off to the doctors…it was JUST a severe allergic reaction to something (we think an insect bite in the park the day before) and after a couple of days on steroids she was fine..
