Scrapbooking inspiration found in black and white
For all my love of colour, I find black and white such an inspiring combination. We used black and white as our accent colours at our wedding and asked all our guests to wear their black and white. I love how everyone looked together, all coordinated!
And of course we needed a black and white dance floor! I have always wanted a floor like this for my kitchen but maybe some day! This one was so fantastically chess-board-like.
So votes on black and white: yes or no? Does it make you want to scrapbook? What one colour would you pick to offset the black and white? When was the last time you took some black and white photos?

I just love black and white, (mostly black, cuz white always makes me think I’ve forgotten something!) but as for the perfect colour to offset the B&W, well it has to be pink doesnt it? xxx

Interesting topic since I’ve just started playing with the black and white settings on my camera and printing some of my pictures in black and white. I having fun exploring the creative possibilities of b & w.
As for a color to offset the black and white? For me it has to be either pink (my all-time fave!) or lime green. Love the pop of bright color against the cool b&w.

I love B&W must say I dont scrap with it much though. I would have to say Lime is the great pop of colour to add to B&W

Black is my favourite colour and I absolutely love black and white photography. If I had to choose a colour to go with black and white it would probably be pink. I love that your wedding guests all wore black and white, the photograph of you all is amazing!

Love Black and White….my kitchen is black and white. A black and white photograph can evoke more emotion than a coloured one. I love any bright colour in the mist of black and white, had fun playing with paint shop and this a while back.

I find that when you go to crop/classes, that it’s easier to scrap with B&W pics as they will match any paper provided…but that kind of put me off, because I found that I had too many B&W layouts. Sometimes its important to have the colour in the photographs (if you think back to 70s & 80s photos, etc – it sets the scene). My favourite accent colour with B&W is Red. Love it. Pink is my close second.
