If tonight’s three challenges are all about my three favourite design motifs, any guesses on what the final trend would be? Hopefully all those pretty pictures give you a clue.

And of course, before we go any further, we need to call the party DJ back to action and request another rockin’ tune.

bunting in progress

I love very simple bunting. These little triangles became bunting for our wedding that now appears anywhere I can put it: above the bed in the guest room, on the Christmas tree, and across my table whenever I am a vendor at a craft show! No hemming at all, and I actually think it looks sweeter with age and a bit of fray around the edges.

bunting on a scrapbook

And now bunting is everywhere in crafting land too! I can only applaud this. You can see more in the video I posted this week.

Your 10pm challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to create something – anything- with bunting! Make something, take a picture and upload it to your blog or a page gallery. Then leave a comment on this post to enter!

One project will be randomly chosen to win a prize package filled with bunting themed scrapbook supplies. You can enter until 6am UK time on Monday 19th April.

PS: This is our final challenge for Friday night — challenges start again at 8am tomorrow morning! But you can enter all challenges until Monday morning so you can pick and choose your favourites to enter! See you tomorrow! Party on!

Ahh… I’m not sure if this counts… I have been making bunting fit to bust recently! I’m in the middle of a commission book, which is a photo album for baby pictures. I’ve put bunting all over it… but I can’t post the pics til I’ve sent it off to the new owner!!!
Yesterday I did post about the paper bunting and flowers I had made on Wednesday night.. I put them in my shop though, so no page with these yet. http://lizziemade.blogspot.com/2010/04/flowers-bunting-and-fun-finds-in-etsy.html
Arrrghh.. so busy with other stuff, no time for my own scrapping… and all that lovely bunting to play with!

  6. Peggy Says:

Can’t say as I’m wild about the whole banners & bunting craze, but I need an anniversary card for my spousal unit, so here ‘tis.

I love bunting too and have plans to make plenty to adorn our house! I’m not sure if these count but here are two recent bunting projects that I have completed (although I think a camera that takes pictures with a true-to-life colour might help).

I love bunting and have plans to make some to put up in my new amazing shelves, which have a huge gap for a widescreen tv – I don’t have one of those, just a teeny digital radio and a big empty space! I made a layout straddling tomorrow’s cosmo challenge and this one too, if that’s allowed. :o) It is blogged here
