This weekend, one commenter will win a hand painted nursery sign from Just Beautiful Things.
‘Just Beautiful Things’ run by the lovely Jen is a store full of the perfect finishing touches, from shower curtains to hand painted signs. The signs and frames are all hand made with solid wood using reclaimed wood whenever possible. Each sign and frame is hand painted (no stencils or vinyls) and hand distressed.

What a beautiful sign. I followed the link to Jen’s Etsy site and just drooled over all the lovely signs. Especially eyeing the photobox with the “on the night you were born, the moon smiled with such wonder…”. I believe that quote to be true of the night my son was born. So, so beautiful.
Anyway about my favorite quote…I am terrible about picking a favorite anything, but one quote I especially love I copied down from my grandma’s fride: “The will of God will never take you where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears, where the Word of God cannot feed you, where the Miracles of God cannot be done for you, where the omnipresence of God cannot find you. Sometimes, people I love are down due to hard times or just being plain burnt out from working too hard. I always tell them ‘No one said it was going to be easy, they just said it would be worth it’. It always spurs me on to the end of whatever i’m going through :)
