Stacy Rajab is a hand cut lino artist inspired by modern meets midcentury. She explains: I love anything bold. I love mixing the eclectic and new with recycled everyday items. I am a very casual person who loves art work to reflect the casual, fun side of a person…one that fits any decor. I use mostly earth-friendly or recycled materials to create your special piece of art.

This owl made me think immediately of my cousin, who loves owls AND mid-century modern style— I would LOVE to win it for her!!
In answer to your question (and I hope this doesn’t sound conceited, but…) I am so excited about the hand-cut paper-pieced monogram that I just recently made (http://vegetablog.wordpress.com/2012/05/21/a-monogram-for-my-collection/)… one of the few projects I’ve been able to complete lately!

For Christmas my hubby and I surprised our daughters with a mini-bedroom makeover – the theme was/is owls! This print would go fabulously in there! My favorite piece of home decor is always going to be our family photos. I have a small gallery of sorts in our dining room, all done in black frames. I love it. Thanks for the chance to win!

I love owls, so that print would be right at home amongst the collection! Other than the other owls around the place, I’m loving my new silk cushion covers – blue and olive green, gold and tan – what a quick way to revamp the lounge room!

I love the owl! My fave thing at home is an old card table of my great grannies that has a print on it. I took the legs off and have it hanging as art on my wall.

My favorite piece is a large painting on canvas of lovely wild dainty daisies. It always makes me smile when I see it. I can’t help be happy in the presence of white daisies! Love the owl. Owls are my newest obsession.

My favourite piece of home decor is my wall box, a small triangle-shaped wooden wall hanging with sections for displaying all the little keepsakes I’ve acquired throughout my life. I’m currently decorating my first ever flat with a nature theme- the owl would go perfectly on the living room wall!

A chalkboard vinyl wall cling in the shape of two owls sitting on a tree branch. I recently put it up in my craft room and I drool over it every time I walk in the room!

My favourite piece of decor in my home is a hand carved wooden rabbit. He has a slightly damaged ear but he still looks handsome sitting on my windowsill watching over the houseplants!

A fabulous oil painting of dandelion clocks by my talented, wonderful friend Ruth Calder Murphy. It was a gift that arrived on Saturday; now we have to redecorate our hall, stairs and landing to accomodate it!

What a beautiful print! I would love to be able to give this to my best friend who loves owls. I don’t get to see her very often as she lives quite a distance from me. This would be a wonderful gift to let her know what a special friend she is too me! :-)
At the moment i’m loving cushions.. have recently decorated the living room in shades of purple, and have been using lots of different textured cushions to give that little extra comfort!
