I love the history behind a handmade item – holding it in my hands and thinking about the person who made it and enjoyed doing so, not like someone in a factory desperate to go home.

13 January 2012, 16:46
I love the fact that there is often a story behind the item and the fact that often you build a relationship with the person who made the item. No faceless corporate nonsense but beautiful things made by real talented people.
