VIP Party Guest :: Audrey

hybrid scrapbook page

Time for another special guest and this time it’s Audrey! You can see the whole project on her blog, Living Life in an Organised Mess. Organised mess. That phrase could describe so much.

I first discovered Audrey’s work when she was a contest winner at SI and her detailed embellishments were unlike anything I had seen. Something that mixed the tiny fine art style of artsy stamping with the fun and the photos of scrapbooking. Since then I’ve worked with her on the design team at Banana Frog, and I still get a big kick when she posts something she made with my stamps!

Some Audrey trivia for you: During what film did Audrey recently fall asleep?

The answer is on her blog – when you find it, post it here in the comments!

Thank you for partying with us, Miss A!

VIP Party Guest :: Chloe

hybrid scrapbook page

Let’s have a warm welcome for our next guest – it’s Chloe, who is quite happy to have seen the end of term and have the summer holidays for some extra scrapbooking before school starts again next month! She’s a history teacher who uses a bit of crafty goodness in her classroom, which you can sometimes hear about on her blog, The Art of Teabag Staining.

Chloe’s layouts are instant stand-outs for her cool and quirky handwriting and her use of bold colours—so I’m curious to see the whole project behind this sneak peek! I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a Chloe layout in neutral tones. She tends to scrap with a generous helping of happy orange!

Ready for Chloe trivia? What royal holiday home did Chloe recently visit?

The answer is on her blog – post it here in the comments when you’ve found it!

VIP Party Guest :: Louise

hybrid scrapbook page

The lovely Louise is our next guest, and I am super excited to see what appears to be a girly page from this mother-of-two-boys! Her pages normally have a distinct masculine edge, so this is something different and so far, I like it! You can see the full project on her blog.

I’ve known Louise for well, maybe I shouldn’t count the years! We used to live in her neighbourhood before we departed for the big city. Her pages have always amazed me: she has a graphic style that is more embellished than many graphic scrappers tend to be, and she makes lots of little things work together, as if they had always been made to be in such a display. She once academically studied the design of designer shopping bags, so I like to think that might be why she has a flair for something special! She started her blog not so long ago and it has sketches and printables for you!

A little Louise trivia: What was her first freebie download?

Find the answer on her blog and post your guess here in the comments.

Thanks for rockin’ the party, Louise!

VIP Party Guest :: Molly

hybrid scrapbook page

Miss Molly is up with her project next! Click over to her blog to see the complete project, with blinged-up cupcakes and more!

Molly is on the design team for Banana Frog and she has an adorable style. My favourite Molly projects are those that have tiny pieces with carefully distressed edges. I could never get things to look so even and perfect like she does! Must be a gift.

A Molly trivia question for you: What television show is Molly super-psyched about this autumn?

The answer is on her blog – post your guess in the comments here!

Thanks for partying with us, Molly!

VIP Party Guest :: Stephanie

hybrid scrapbook page

Our next sneak peek comes from Stephanie, and she’s sharing the full project on her blog today. I love that she put a vintage spin on the designs!

I started reading Stephanie’s blog when I realised I had bookmarked about eleventy dozen of her layouts in the gallery at Two Peas. Then I bumped into her a few times at CHA last winter, and my goodness, this girl doesn’t stop. You know those energy drinks that will keep people awake for days and days? I have a feeling they don’t have a thing on this girl. She is bubbly to the max. And I love that her pages are beautiful without taking all week to make or using six of the newest and most difficult techniques. I think even The Boy would like her pages because she loves a good selection of supplies stuck together, simply. She makes it look fab.

Stephanie trivia: What kind of new exercise regime has Stephanie taken up?

Find the answer on her blog and post your guess in the comments here!

Stephanie, thanks so much for joining our party! Party on!

VIP Party Guest :: Jen

Our next project to inspire you comes from Jen who I may secretly refer to as ‘Dr. Jen’ at all times in my head. A doctor who scrapbooks? Seriously, wouldn’t you just feel better at the office? Anyway, I digress. Click here to see the full project on her blog.

Jen does amazing stuff with distressing and bling and the prettiest of papers, so I can wait to see what she’s done for the party. On her blog, you’ll find pretty pages featuring her wedding photos and her travels (and I promise no scrapbooked surgeries or anything else that I do not want to imagine). This girl seems to be calm at all times, so I pretty much want to know…how does she do that? I hope that maybe some of it will rub off by reading her pretty blog.

Some Jen trivia for you: Jen seems to have luck on her side as well as calm. What event did she see recently that most people would only hope to attend, since the tickets are nigh on impossible to come by? (By the way, I asked her what royal she secretly married to secure such tickets and she assured me – calmly – that she merely had brilliant luck in the public drawing!)

The answer to the trivia question is on her blog – if you think you know, post in the comments below!

VIP Party Guest :: Karen

hybrid minibook

Our next party guest, Karen, has not one but TWO projects to show you, the crazy scrapping girl! I think you will love them!

hybrid scrapbook page

You can find all her notes on her blog, Red Art Scrapping. Karen is all about bright colours and rich layers in her projects and she’s a newlywed so sometimes she blogs extra pretty pages with wedding photos!

Your Karen trivia question: What is the only travel guide allowed in Karen’s house? The answer is somewhere on her blog. If you have a guess, post it here in the comments!

VIP Party Guest :: Rebekah

hybrid scrapbook page

Rebekah is up next with her a page that looks like collage-y-goodness to me! You can see the full project on her blog, The Happy Scrapper.

I first met Rebekah at a weekend crop where she seemed so quiet and shy that I was almost afraid to talk to her—and then it turned out she wasn’t shy at all! She scraps about her son who looks to be growing up quickly! And she also knows how to snap an oh-so-pretty photo of a beautiful bloom.

Your Rebekah trivia question: Why does Rebekah’s dad often have a new puppy?

The answer is somewhere on her blog – post your guess here in the comments.
