Scrapbooking with at least a little pink

scrapbook page

Pink is such a controversial colour at times. At first it is the colour for all things baby girl, then that can go so over the top that even the girliest of girls can turn against the colour pink. And what on earth the poor pink ever do? I think I’ll have to keep doing my part for the promotion of pink… Like your next challenge!

Your challenge is to create a scrapbook page, card or another project using pink! Use a little pink, a lot of pink, pink on something obvious or pink where it’s unexpected.

Post your project on your blog or an online gallery and leave a link in the comments on this post. One randomly chosen entry will win a prize pack of pink scrapbooking supplies!

Had to laugh when I saw this challenge, as I read it just after I uploaded my entry to ‘scrapbook with circles’, and my page for that is OTT on pink! I won’t cheat and use it for both though, I might try and challenge myself to use pink on a layout that isn’t about my daughter as all my pink supplies get used up on pages about her! xx

Yay for Pink! I’ve been soo busy today and not at home. I will have to see what I can do with some challenges tomorrow… so far it’s photos of feet, nature, manmade objects and a close-up… then scrapping with a sketch, aqua, white & red and now a layout with lots of pink! I will be busy…
I heard something interesting the other day, about pink… Apparently, up until some time in C19, girls were dressed in blue and boys in pink. Pink was seen as a strong colour, so it was used for boys. (another one of my useless but interesting facts!).
