Has anyone seen my last two days?

scrapbook page from a sketch

Because I would like them to report here pronto. I am sure there are some hours left in each. I think they departed before the 24 hour time limit.

In fact, I think something similar may have happened to the last week or so.

So for now, let me direct you to other places, but come back, because the hours and the days and I are making a deal, and that deal includes time to blog. Oh yes.

Elsewhere, you’ll find…
…I’m a special guest at Studio 101 (not to be confused with Room 101) and you can participate in the first of three Shim-meets-101 challenges by making a layout with the same sketch I used to create the page above. (This weekend’s challenge will benefit charity: water, so you’ll want to check that out too.)

…You can win a free place on Journal your Christmas at Two Peas this weekend.

…I’m embossing polka dots at the Frog Blog.

…this weekend I’m leading a little Wizard of Oz magic at the UKScrappers cybercrop, and there are about as many challenges, classes and otherwise good things in a UKS cybercrop as there are munchkins in all of munchkinland, so definitely worth playing along if you have time to scrap this weekend.

Now, if you see my extra hours skiving around your place, send ‘em back here pronto!

I am pretty sure I saw them hanging out, kickin’ back and having a brew at the local pub with mine. They’ll probably be useless by the time they get in, but I’ll pass along the word.

I know the feeling!! I’m poorly sick at the moment so I lost all of yesterday – went back to bed at 11am and when I woke up it was dark outside. What a waste!
Hopefully we’ll all catch up with our lost hours sometime soon! xx

  3. Mel Says:

It must be catching!! I lost at least 3 hours only yesterday, and I’ve made the mistake of sitting down at the computer again now so I suspect another couple of hours will sneak off while I’m too busy to notice…

Those hours get lost in Blogland. Check messages once a day then turn off PC and, in the immortal words of children’s TV, ‘Go out and do something less boring instead!’ Obviously, since I am sitting here posting, I don’t follow my own advice!

  5. Gemma Says:

yep . . . i think the computer stole those hours and the only way to get them back might be to go cold turkey and TURN OFF the computer – shock horror! hope to find some time for the cybercrop tho :)

Oh I so hear you! It’s them upstairs with their finger on the fast forward button again! :)

  7. Cheryl Says:

I’m sorry, this may be such a dumb ?, but how did you get the paper behind the pics (blue/writing) to be that shape – a special cutter? Sorry if dumb!

Hi there, first off… just so you know, I will still be seeing you in my Inbox next month because you have finally convinced me to sign up for the class! Hoping I can get a free spot too by 2peas. Secondly, thank you so much for sharing that post. Thought I’m the only person that sits on her computer with her jammies on whenever she’s off from the real world’s called work. BTW, it’s noon already and just had my breaky but I’ve been here snoopin all the sites I could get and this is my break time. Duh! Thanks and what a lovely layout. I will try one myself if I can have the time….

  9. Lynn Says:

Think your missing hours must be hanging out with mine somewhere. I never seem to have enough time in the day! Looking forward to the CC :D

Speaking of the cybercrop, I’ll check w/my neighbor again, but I haven’t got a kit yet =/

  11. Stefanie Says:

    I loved this post.
I often have that exact same feeling that there must be a few leftover hours out there somewhere.

  12. Cheryl Says:

Thank you! I’ll have to be on the lookout for pages like that, and good idea in tracing them!!!
