Scrapbooking with patterned papers

handmade card

Time for some colour and pattern — in fact, as many patterns as you dare!

Your challenge is to create a project using at least four patterned papers — a card, a tag, a scrapbook page. Whatever you like is fine as long as it includes a variety of pattern!

Take a picture of your project and upload it to your blog or a page gallery. Leave a link in the comments on this post to enter. See this post for details and deadlines for this weekend.

One randomly chosen entry will win a prize package filled with patterned paper perfect for as many projects as you wish!

I used five different patterned papers on this one! It started out as a take on your sketch earlier this weekend, but morphed into a submission for the patterned paper challenge. Thank you so much for all of your creative inspiration!!!

This notebook I decorated has 4 patterns of paper. It took so long to find a combo that matches! The blue layer looks like it’s plain but it’s actually very finely polka dotted.

Here’s my offering: The Comedy of Errors, courtesy of October Afternoon Thrift shop. I love how the muted colours in the collection go really well and yet still have a kind of faded glamour. Theatrical!

Great challenge…strange subject matter (on my LO). Have decided to make a ‘down on the farm’ series of everyday farm life stuff. This is now second in the ‘series’ (of 2) just because I couldn’t think of a better title and already have a LO entitled down on the farm. And so a series was begun!
