Scrapbooking Giveaway Day!
This weekend, one commenter will win the new Sketchpad e-course from the lovely Kelly Purkey.
Sketchpad is a brand-new class from Kelly Purkey, spinning off from her series of successful Sketchbook classes. Rather than a course delivered by individual emails, Sketchpad is a downloadable, self-paced class featuring 12 original sketches, 35 exclusive layouts from Kelly + and her talented contributors, 35 additional detailed sketches made from those layouts, and 12 amazing cards based on the sketches from the talented, Kristina Werner all in a full-color 75 page PDF, so you can work at your own pace and in any order. It would be just perfect for your desk at a crop or crafting at home, and as a PDF you can print it or view it on your computer, iPhone or iPad (or any other gadgets that let you see colour PDF files).
Visit Kelly’s blog for more details on the class, including the full list of special guests and the magical sign up button! You can also find Kelly on Twitter. Sketchpad would make a rad Christmas gift for a scrapping friend too, by the way. I contributed a page to Sketchpad and the full PDF has me itching to get cutting and pasting as soon as I hit the publish button on this post!
To enter, just leave a comment on this post sharing how many photos you like to see on a sketch.
Entries close at midnight Sunday UK time and the winner will be posted Monday evening, so be sure to check back to see if it’s your lucky day!
Good luck!

OOH, sounds fantastic! thanks for the chance at a free class.
4 November 2011, 15:06
I love sketches and this class sounds amazing! I like two or three photos on a one page sketch, five or six on a two pager. But I can always adapt a sketch to what I have!
4 November 2011, 15:06
I used to be a one photo girl but I take so many photos if I’m ever to catch up I would have to say the more the merrier. Great giveaway I love using sketches to get me started.
4 November 2011, 15:06
Sounds like a great class..I will put my name in the hat for a chance to win!! Thanks!
4 November 2011, 15:08
I’m eager to try this one out!
4 November 2011, 15:09
This sounds fabulous, love the sound of it. xx
4 November 2011, 15:10
I love to have 1 or 2 photos on a sketch. But, I also enjoy seeing lots of photos on a sketch. Depends on my mood I guess!
4 November 2011, 15:10
I take a LOT of photos, and I love them all, so I need to be able to put a minimum of 4 photos on a page.
4 November 2011, 15:11
Wow, this sounds fantastic! I’d like to see as many pictures as possible – I always find it difficult to choose which pictures to scrap!
4 November 2011, 15:11
I get stuck with single photo (6×4) layouts, once you have 2 or 3 photos it’s usually easier for me. I always get stuck how to lay the paper down, once i’ve done that, the photos come easier.
4 November 2011, 15:16
I like to see sketches with LOTS of pictures!! I take too many pictures and have a hard time narrowing them down to just one or two.
4 November 2011, 15:17
I take a lot of pictures, 6 to 8 photos on a sketch usually works for me. Thanks!
4 November 2011, 15:19
To be honnest, I don’t have a preferred number of pictures… I like to work with the pics I have so I try to find a sketch which corresponds to the said number of pics… I may be clear as mud but anyway, this class seems awesome!!
4 November 2011, 15:19
Hmmm, that’s a tricky one. I think my faves are either one great photo, or a few (different sizes perhaps) that tell a story :)
4 November 2011, 15:19
Great giveaway Shimelle…I usually like two or three pics on a sketch, but one works too!
4 November 2011, 15:21
I like most sketches with 1-2 photo’s on :)
4 November 2011, 15:23
Trying my luck here – if I don’t win I’ll buy it anyway. I am often lost with sketches if they have lots of pictures or they are complicated. I love your class 4×6 photo love but in general I prefer 1 photo on a sketch.
4 November 2011, 15:29
I think 2 or 3 pics on a sketch gives me hope that I can tell a good story on one page.
4 November 2011, 15:29
I love minimal 1-photo layouts, but 2-3 are usually my optimal amount. :)
4 November 2011, 15:32
I mostly do 1-photo layouts but life would be boring if there was nothing else, so I’m going with one to three. :)
4 November 2011, 15:36
I like seeing 2-3 pictures in a sketch!
4 November 2011, 15:39
Wow, fab giveaway, have everything crossed!
4 November 2011, 15:41
its been a while since i’ve taken a class so it’s lovely to have a chance to win – i’m open to the number of photos i like to see on a sketch, that way there’s always a sketch to suit the number of photos i have in mind for a layout.
4 November 2011, 15:43
I’d love to know how to include more than 10 on a 2 pager!
4 November 2011, 15:43
This sounds amazing!! I have a friend that this would be the perfect Christmas gift for, she is the scrappy queen :)
4 November 2011, 15:43
I like to see 3-4 photos on a sketch. Got my fingers crossed
4 November 2011, 15:45
I usually scrap with one photo, but I want to say three anyways. :)
4 November 2011, 15:45
Most of the time i choose a sketch with 1 or 2 photos on it because i am afraid of sketches with more photos, i have to stop being afraid of that and just try !
Thanks for the chance.
4 November 2011, 15:46
I love Kelley Purkey and I like about 5 pics on my layouts most of the time.
4 November 2011, 15:47
I usually scrap no more than 4 on a page. Would love to see sketches of 6 or more per page.
4 November 2011, 15:47
oohhh I would LOVE this class, I’m all about sketches lately. I don’t mind the number although most of my layouts are between 1-3 photos since I don’t have a photo printer so nearly all my prints are 6×4. i need to really make a point of using more small prints
4 November 2011, 15:47
I’m still finding that balance of enough photos and yet enough room to showcase design. At this point, I’d say at least 3 photos on a sketch — best for telling a story {beginning, middle, end}.
Sounds like an awesome class!
4 November 2011, 15:48
I love that!! I like 3 pics or sometimes 2 but it’s a real challenge to scrapbook several ones!! Thanx for the chance to win ;-)
4 November 2011, 15:49
most of my layouts have 1-2 photos. I’d like to see one with 3 or more. Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 15:49
I like 1-2 pics in the sketch……… .
4 November 2011, 15:50
I like sketches for 2-3 photos, and lately I’m really liking the multi- mini photos one.
4 November 2011, 15:51
I´m not a multi-photo-scrapper, but I´d love to see more than 2 photos on a sketch just for stepping out of my comfort zone.
4 November 2011, 15:53
oohh! this class sounds like fun! The number of photos on a layout doesn’t really matter to me, as long as there is plenty of room to add lots and lots of pretty embellishments! If you twist my arm for a number I’ll say 1-3 pictures (more if they are smaller than 4×6).
4 November 2011, 15:53
It looks like a wonderful class. I like to see about 3 photos on a sketch- but there again use sketches to use any number of photos!
4 November 2011, 15:54
I like sketches for 2-3 photos, and lately I’m really liking the ones with lots of mini photos.
4 November 2011, 15:55
Sounds like an awesome class! Number of photos on a sketch depends – I love 1 photo layouts, BUT I also have a lot of multi-photo (3+) layouts that I need to get done!
4 November 2011, 15:57
Hmm…I don’t have much of a preference, I sometimes scrap no-photo layouts and sometimes theres nothing but photos! Variety and versatility is great!
4 November 2011, 16:02
I generally like 2-4 pics on a page and I love the opportunity to win this class :) I am really enamored of using the 3×3 Instagram/Hipstamatic sized pics on layouts also.
4 November 2011, 16:02
Not to sound wishy-washy, but honestly I love sketches with any number of photos. Different subjects get scrapped differently and choices are always good!
4 November 2011, 16:02
Whaou, this class sounds fantastic! I love white space on my layout. One photo is ideal for me, but I often cannot choose only one. Most of my layout have 2 or 3 photos
4 November 2011, 16:06
This class sounds great! I’m going with 4-6 pics over two pages. Thank you for the chance to win.
4 November 2011, 16:16
at the moment I’m liking two on a page
4 November 2011, 16:19
Wow fab giveaway. My favourite pages have two photos, but I also like one and three on a single page. I mainly use 4 × 6 photos.
4 November 2011, 16:21
I like to see sketches with more photos on it. These seem harder to scrap than one photo layouts. Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 16:22
Sounds like a GREAT class. Thanks so much for the chance to win!
I really love 1-photo layouts the most, but 1, 2 or 3 are fine, too. More than that is a mini book to me! :)
4 November 2011, 16:30
The class looks great! I like 2-3 photos on a page.
4 November 2011, 16:30
Ooh, I already have this class (it really is pretty dang cool), but if I won I’d gift it to a pal who’s just getting into scrapping.
Photo-wise, I love a good one-photo sketch, but I often break out way more than that as long as they’re printed smallish to fit my single-page, 8.5×11 style.
Thanks!
4 November 2011, 16:32
What a great idea! Having taken lots of IT online classes, I enjoy the flexibility of doing class work at my leisure.
Hm, I generally use 3-6 pix per page since I’m not artistic enough to do a lot of embellishments. Borders and some journaling with a few stickers seem to be my modus operandi.
4 November 2011, 16:32
I don’t really have a preference for the number of photos on a pge. when I started out scrapping I used to cram in as many as possible, now I do single photos, two photo, three, four or more. I’ve been following the 4X6 photolove course, so next on the agenda is a 9 photo LO.
4 November 2011, 16:33
I like sketches with one or two photos. Occasionally I’ll use more, but not often. I’d love to take the class, so pick me!
4 November 2011, 16:36
I love sketches with more than one photo and preferably a double page with five or more.
4 November 2011, 16:44
This class sounds like a lot of fun. I like including lots of pictures on my pages…can never narrow it down to just one or two. Thanks for the giveaway!
4 November 2011, 16:44
Looks like a great class- thanks! I love to use at least 4-5 pictures on a double layout.
4 November 2011, 16:48
3, I just love 3 photos to a page.
4 November 2011, 16:55
I will work with different numbers, but really liking 3 photos on a page at the mo. Looks like a great class
4 November 2011, 17:00
I love to see at least two or three photos. Probably 3 is the best because that’s a hard one to scrapbook, yet I seem to have 3 photos to go on a page. I like single page sketches.
4 November 2011, 17:02
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great sounding class. I like using 1 larger sized photo as an excuse to play with paper and glimmer, but I need to scrap a big holiday, so ways to add LOTS of photos without it becoming a visual mess, or boring, would be great. I’m looking forward seeing what you are doing with 12 photos in December, Shimelle!
4 November 2011, 17:04
Awesome. I love sketches. Such a great prize x
4 November 2011, 17:06
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to win this class. I just love sketches!
4 November 2011, 17:11
I use sketches all the time so this would be perfect. I seem to like 2-3 photos on a sketch and that way you can knock it down to 1-2 to replace with journalling etc. What a popular giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity xx
4 November 2011, 17:14
Kelly’s Sketch classes are always fabulous,so I’m off to check it out. I would love to win as I could use some help right now. I’ve fallen into scrapping 1 photo layouts, when I know that 2 – 3 photos on the page tells the story best. And I always, always need help with cards too!
4 November 2011, 17:21
Looks like a great class.
4 November 2011, 17:23
Wow! What an amazing prize! I really like two 4 × 6 photos on a page, but often scrap one large or several small ones too.
4 November 2011, 17:26
I have never taken an online class. I would love to start!!
4 November 2011, 17:36
Ohh, class sounds great. I mainly scrap 4×6 and guess my fave is 2 photos per page.
4 November 2011, 17:38
I love KP’s sketch classes, always inspiring. I like to do 2-3 4×6 pictures on a page.
4 November 2011, 17:45
One photo for a special photo or one with lots to journal about, or two or three if they tell the story better.
4 November 2011, 17:47
I love sketches with 2 photos on them. This class sounds great.
4 November 2011, 17:52
2-3 photos are good usually. Another new place to check out :0)
4 November 2011, 17:55
I like sketches with 2 – 3 photos, I look her SketchBook 3 class and it was great and I have used the sketches lots. Thanks for the giveaway.
4 November 2011, 17:55
Any amount really – I often scrap 1-3 so sometimes more is a good incentive! Thanks!
4 November 2011, 18:02
I’ve always been drawn mostly to one-photo sketches, but lately I’ve been making an effort to scrap two or three photos on a page and I’m really enjoying it.
4 November 2011, 18:09
Fantastic giveaway!! I used to always go for one big picture on every page, but now I’m defintely a big fan of 1 or 2 smaller ones x
4 November 2011, 18:20
I like to see 2-3 photos to a sketch
4 November 2011, 18:27
I like to put several photos on a page so tend to be drawn to sketches with about three photographs on.
4 November 2011, 18:29
I think I would go for 1 photo to focus in on one important aspect or I would go for 4 to tell more of a story about a whole event. Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 18:30
Love sketches. If i am doing a double page i like to use 4or5 and on a single LO 2or3. Fingers crossed sounds a great giveaway.
4 November 2011, 18:34
What a great class and giveaway! I love sketches and love to see 1-page layouts with 2-3 photos and 2-page layouts with 6-8 photos.
4 November 2011, 18:35
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love 2 or 3 photos – it seems manageable to me!
4 November 2011, 18:37
My normal on a one page sketch is 1 to 3. on a double page 3 to 6. Special photos deserve one to a page and if telling a short story 3 is my criteria.
Love the chance to win this prize. I’m a Kelly Purkey fan.
4 November 2011, 18:56
I would love to join this class. If I don’t win hopefully it’s in the budget lol. I like as many photos as needed to tell the story. I have a bad habit of having to many photos to tell the story.
4 November 2011, 19:04
I would like to see layouts with 2-3 photos.
4 November 2011, 19:05
Oooh I do love a sketch and I do love Kelly Purkey!! So what an awesome giveaway this is! I am a true one page, one photo type of girl, because I’ve got to have enough room to tell the story (and my writing is kinda big). Having said that, I am always open to change. :)
4 November 2011, 19:08
Looks like a great class! I like sketches with 3 photos. Just seems to work out for me.
4 November 2011, 19:11
Thanks for the chance to win Shimelle. This sounds like a great class. I need all the help I can get.
4 November 2011, 19:15
I would definitely love to join this class. Thanks for a chance to win.
4 November 2011, 19:18
Looks like a fun class. Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 19:21
I love Giveaway days and I would love to win this class. I think Kelly Purkey does really cool work!
4 November 2011, 19:23
Oh thanks for the chance to win. I personally adore sketches with multiple photos as I can do a few a lot more easily. I often use small photos so I would love single page sketches with 6-7+ little photos :D
4 November 2011, 19:25
As long as its a sketch I find interesting I will find photos to fit it :) So it doesnt bother me how many photos are in a sketch :)
4 November 2011, 19:28
This sounds like what I need to get back to scrapping. Feel like I have been in a bottomless pit with no creativity to be found. Thanks for the opprotunity
4 November 2011, 19:41
My favorite sketches usually contain 1-3 photos! Thanks for the chance to win – looks like an awesome class!
4 November 2011, 19:54
I tend to get stuck doing 1 picture/page, so I like to see sketches with 3-4 pictures. Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 19:55
I love seeing multi-photo sketches!! Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 20:01
Thank you for this chance to win! I like to keep it simple so one large photo is my norm but I have done sketches with up to 3. I have been inspired by more photos but have yet to do one myself.
4 November 2011, 20:07
I would love to win this to use on that sad, dark day when the pretty paper party is over.
Rinda
4 November 2011, 20:15
I would like to see 3 fotos on a page, thanks for the chance to win
4 November 2011, 20:23
I like anywhere from 1-3 photos on a layout
4 November 2011, 20:27
I would love a sketch with at least 4 pictures. Most other sketches have 1 or 2. I have too many pictures, and would love to put more on a page. Thanks for the chance, Shimelle!
4 November 2011, 20:32
I like sketches with 3 photos on them. Sometimes tho I like just one if I feel like being more artsy.
4 November 2011, 20:33
Hee-hee, I love how you use the word “rad.” :) I like four photos on a sketch, typically. Nice even number, and I often have that many for subjects I want to scrap. I also like one-photo sketches. Thanks for the chance to win!
4 November 2011, 20:44
As I generally use 6×4’s and scrap single pages at the moment, I like to use 2-3 photos on a page. I do LOVE layouts with more smaller photos, but I am not able to print on demand, so I very rarely have any to use.
4 November 2011, 20:48
i like sketches with 2-3 pictures…any more and i feel overwhelmed
4 November 2011, 20:55
Oh yay!!! I can never have too many of your layouts!
4 November 2011, 20:57
i am totally flexible with number of photos…. it all depends on the page i guess. i love the look of one photo and lots of white space, but i tend to pack 3 or more on my pages
4 November 2011, 21:05
This class sounds wonderful! I typically like 2 pics on a sketch. I think I do a good mix with one 4×6 LO to 6 + pics. Thanks for the chance!
4 November 2011, 21:10
Sounds like cool class. I like multiple-pics and multiple-sized pics. 4-5?
4 November 2011, 21:12
I love sketches! For single page layouts I like to see 3 photos. 7 seems to be my magic number for double page layouts…and now I have a Schoolhouse Rock song going through my head! LOL!
4 November 2011, 21:17
This looks like such a fun class. Thanks for giving us a chance to win a spot!
4 November 2011, 21:38
I would so LOVE to take this class! Thanks for the chance to win a spot. :)
As for how many photos I like to see on a sketch, for me it’s either one or around three. That’s what I seem to go towards most! – April W
4 November 2011, 22:00
I like sketches to have 3-4 photos. If I don’t use that many photos I can easily put something else in that space.
4 November 2011, 22:01
This class sounds awesome. Thanks for the chance to win! I would love to see more sketches with 5-6 photos.
4 November 2011, 22:28
Thanks for the chance to win this! Sounds really interesting! I would like to see three pictures in a sketch! Patsy from <br /><a href=“http://patsypat.blogspot.com”
rel=“nofollow”>HeARTworks</a>
4 November 2011, 22:37
I like 3 photos on a single page. And 5-6 on a double layout.
But i have to say that the last few months of your 4×6 Photo Love projects have really inspired me to use more photos on my pages.
4 November 2011, 22:46
with your party class and this class, i will be for sure to pick up my scrapping again!!
4 November 2011, 22:48
Love Kelly’s sketch classes. Thanks for a chance to win!
4 November 2011, 23:16
Sometimes I love to have a ton of embellishments for 1 amazing photo! Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
5 November 2011, 00:12
Love the sneak!! Hope I get to take this class!
5 November 2011, 00:19
let the winner be me,, ahahah!!!! happy crafting everyone!!!!!
5 November 2011, 00:46
Great competition, I like a good mixture of photos on a sketch depending on what sort of mood i’m in!!!
5 November 2011, 01:28
Would so love to win a spot in Sketchpad. I usually like 2or 3 photos on a layout.
5 November 2011, 02:12
I like 3-5.
5 November 2011, 02:29
Wow! This is amazing! I would like to see 3-4 photos for a one page sketch and 6-10 (!) photos for a two-pager. Thanks so much for the chance to win – I hope it’s me!!
5 November 2011, 02:38
My favourite is being inventive with the page/pages to fit lots of pics in as in 4×6 Photo Love, can’t wait for Nov and Dec.
5 November 2011, 03:17
I love multi-photo pages, especially double pages.
5 November 2011, 04:02
Sometimes I fit quite a few on a page, but usually stick to 3…seems like a nice round number. Thanks for the chance to win!
5 November 2011, 04:03
I love multi photo sketches, I usually want to put 3 or 4 photos on a page. Thanks for the chance of winning this class!
5 November 2011, 04:57
I like two photo sketches. Then there is enough ‘photo space’ on the layout to adapt it easily for more or less.
5 November 2011, 05:01
I like all kinds of sketches….those with lots of photos and those with one. Sketches are so inspiring and so fun to work from.
5 November 2011, 05:01
Hmmm…if it is a one page sketch, two or three photos would be great. If it is a two page sketch, I think five is a good number. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
5 November 2011, 05:33
Love KP and would love to win this class!! Thanks for the chance!
5 November 2011, 06:16
I like to have 3 or 4 photos on a page. Thanks for a chance to win.
5 November 2011, 06:18
This sounds like an amazing prize!!
The number of photos in my layouts really vary based on the theme I’m scrapping, sometimes I use lots of photos & sometimes only one. I like to see variety in sketches so I can find one to fit my needs.
5 November 2011, 06:25
I didn’t know Kelly P had a new class starting…I’m so glad I dropped by. I would love to take her class…great prize!!!
5 November 2011, 06:29
I love the look of 1-3 photos when other people do them, but I can never narrow it down to that many, so 6-10 is my ideal number!
5 November 2011, 06:33
I like 3 photos on a sketch as my natural inclination is to use just 1. A sketch pushes me to be different!
5 November 2011, 06:40
That sounds great! I’m usually a one-photo girl, but I’m open to any number of photos per sketch.
Tatjana
5 November 2011, 06:40
Add me to the 1-3 photos although I am super guilty of the 1photo layouts. I’ve been trying to break from it. Thanks for chance.
5 November 2011, 06:49
As many as possible! Really love pages with many photos! Thanks for the chance!
5 November 2011, 06:50
Oh sounds great! I work off sketches quite a lot as being a busy mum and working as a childminder I don’t have much time to scrap! Sketches push me to do things I wouldn’t normally!!
5 November 2011, 07:00
i like 1 or 2 photos
5 November 2011, 07:00
I like to put 1 main picture and lots of little pictures to capture the event. I love sketches!
5 November 2011, 07:12
I think this class looks great and I will really get inspired!
Lori R
5 November 2011, 07:16
I would like to see a sketch for 3 or more 6×4s. I usually always use at least 2 6×4 photos on a 12×12 but sometimes feel I need some different ideas. Thanks Shimelle for all your inspiration.
5 November 2011, 07:22
Sounds like an awesome class! I typically like to have a minimum of 3 pics on a page — I use 4×6 photos (can be trimmed).
5 November 2011, 07:28
I love sketches and look to them usually when I need inspiration. I usually scrap with a single photo but recently started using 3’s again. Love that!
5 November 2011, 07:28
I love giveaways!
5 November 2011, 07:32
Oh I love sketches. and how many photos? It really depends on teh page I’m doing. thanks for the chance to win :)
5 November 2011, 07:33
This looks fabulous. Thanks for linking us up with Kelly – and for the chance to win her class! :)
5 November 2011, 07:40
Great giveaway! I take a lot of pictures and love how, when combined with my journaling, they tell the story. So i would like sketches with at least 4 pictures. Thanks for the chance :)
5 November 2011, 07:44
What fun! Thanks for the chance to win :)
Me, I love sketches with 1 or 2 4×6 photos (though it’s great to see some with more photos on sometimes, too)
5 November 2011, 07:45
I’m a one photo girl most of the time- but if I print them small I am quite happy with any number!
5 November 2011, 07:48
I love sketches, this sounds like a fab class so thank you for the chance to win. I tend to just use one pic on my pages but love it when I see lots more on other people’s, looks great
5 November 2011, 08:03
thanks for the chance to win!!!
5 November 2011, 08:05
I’m the type of person who loves to have as many photos as possible… so on a one-page layout, 2-5, on a two-page layout, 4-??? and cropping ‘em to work is just fine. Sadly, most sketches keep the amount of photos small so I have to…get creative. :)
5 November 2011, 08:08
I have lots of photo’s and so I like to use a few on every page – 6 × 4 photo love at 2 peas has been perfect for me. Thanks for the opportunity x
5 November 2011, 08:08
I usually use 2 – 4 photos per page. So that range would be good for me for sketches. Thanks for a chance to win. jeannett_mcgee@comcast.net
5 November 2011, 08:09
How nice ! I would like to see either 3 or 5 photos on a sketch. I seem to end up with the odd number and while occasionally I trim one down smaller, they are mostly the full 4X6 I want on a page. Thanks. It sounds like a wonderful class with both Kelly and you !
5 November 2011, 08:14
I like 3 I think, can’t make up my mind, sometimes I like 1. If 3 I like varied sizes as 3 4×6 seem to take up too much of the page.
5 November 2011, 08:19
Love one photo pages but I also like using more. Depends on the story!
5 November 2011, 08:26
Thanks for the giveaway. I like sketches with multiple photos – gotta scrap those pics!
5 November 2011, 08:29
This looks like such a fab fun class !!!
5 November 2011, 08:40
Would love the chance. Thanks.
5 November 2011, 08:45
I’m pretty new to scrapbooking, but for the few pages I’ve done so far I tend to use 3 or 5 smaller pictures per page. This class would be so great to help me stretch my layouts and try new things. Can’t wait to see your layout Shimelle, love the starting points!
5 November 2011, 08:53
I am a big two-pager gal, myself and love seeing 10 or more pics on a sketch :)
5 November 2011, 08:57
I like to see more than 6 photos on a layout either a one page or two page. The fewer photos I can usually figure out.
Thanks for the chance to try a new class.
5 November 2011, 09:02
I usually do 1 or 2 photos per page and sketches help me a lot when I have more photos I want to use.
5 November 2011, 09:11
What an amazing giveaway. I normally do 2/3 photos on a layout but could do with ideas on using more photos as I have sooooooo many to scrap!
5 November 2011, 09:20
I really only like two photos on a single layout. However, if it is a double layout then five photos.
5 November 2011, 09:24
I love to see several photos on a sketch. I think most people can put one or two pics on a page without needing any genius ideas…..putting more on a page takes a bit more inspiration.
5 November 2011, 09:24
Hi. I’m a one photo gal at the moment, because I have the 4X6 Love, of course!!
Kate xx
5 November 2011, 09:25
I usually do three since I like odd numbers.
5 November 2011, 09:27
i like to have 2-3 photos per page. i like the look of just one (photo per page), but have too many photos i want to scrap to do them separately. lovely
5 November 2011, 09:28
What a fab giveaway! I like to see 2 photos on a sketch as this is my most common number of photos, but am very interested to see some more 3 photo sketches as I find it challenging trying to make the pages look different as the space is more restricted. Sounds like a great class, off to check it out!
5 November 2011, 09:29
I don’t make spreads so I’m happy with 1-3 photos.
5 November 2011, 09:29
I would say up to 3 photo’s. I don’t like my pages to look too busy. I like the simple and clean look.
5 November 2011, 09:40
I’d love to see about 4 photos on each sketch. I love doing single photo layouts, but I need to scrap my huge pile of pictures.
5 November 2011, 09:40
i tried 4 photos before, that’s the max but would love to give 6 photos of more a go (:
5 November 2011, 09:42
This class sound great. I followed her sketchbook class 2 last year and enjoyed it very much as your class at this moment. So many LO. I would love to see a collage of photos on a LO. maybe 2×3 of 3×4 photos. Thanks for the chance of winning this great price!
Sandra :)
5 November 2011, 09:49
13 – it really is a lucky number for me. :)
5 November 2011, 09:52
it really depends on what I want to present on the layout. I’ll prefer 1 photo if to just highlight the face and use 3 or 4 photos to show a sequence of events.
5 November 2011, 10:08
Depending on the layout, sometimes I like one, sometimes I like a collage! I love Kelly’s style and would love to see what she has in store! Thanks for the chance to win a spot in her class!
5 November 2011, 10:12
This class concept sounds wonderful. I love to see at least 3 photos. This number helps me corral my photos and guides my visual triangle. Thanks for the fun give away.
5 November 2011, 10:16
I like 3 photos on a sketch, but really love looking at all of them! Thanks for a chance to win.
5 November 2011, 10:19
I like anywhere from 1 to 4 photos on sketch. Thanks for this chance!
5 November 2011, 10:35
I like 2-3, I usually scrap that many per page, and if I have more I can crop, or less, it leaves room for more paper, a joirnaling spot, or embellishments. :-) I like the ratio of stuff::white space that # allows.
5 November 2011, 10:37
I love sketches and was just looking at this class today! I like 3-4 pics on a page normally but have been known to just do 1-2 special ones. Thanks for the chance.
5 November 2011, 10:39
3 photos for a sketch but would like to see more with just 2.
Thanx for the chance to win.
5 November 2011, 10:45
I find sketches really help me along when I’m stuck and think that about 3 on a one page layout is a fairly good number. I’d love to win this class! Thanks for the chance :)
5 November 2011, 10:47
Kelly’s classes are great…and the sneaks of this one look fabulous. Thanks for a chance to win.
5 November 2011, 10:54
Ohh sounds like a super course. Thanks for the chance to win!! Hugs, Karen
5 November 2011, 10:57
I love sketches and would love to win this class. I like to have multiple pictures on my page (3-5) to make sure the story gets told in pictures as well as words.
5 November 2011, 11:07
Hmm, I alwas think it’s difficult to scrap with 5 photo’s!
Good luck for everyone! -(200 comments =])
Ellen
5 November 2011, 11:15
I prefer sketches with two photos, but really like the ones with three photos too!
5 November 2011, 11:15
great giveaway! would love to do this class!
5 November 2011, 11:17
I would love to attend this class – I could use the help:). I think 3 is my favorite number of photos on a sketch.
5 November 2011, 11:23
I like 3 photo sketches. Thanks for the chance!!
5 November 2011, 11:28
I love sketches with more than 3 photos. Single or double photo pages are easy for me…. it’s the ones with more photos that cause me grief! ;) Would love a chance to win the class!
5 November 2011, 11:32
Difficult call – but I like the photos to take centre stage whether it is one large one or several smaller ones. I like to ring the changes and am always looking for new ideas – so this course sounds fab.
5 November 2011, 11:33
Ohmigoodness, I would love to try my hand at this. Thanks for the opportunity.
5 November 2011, 11:43
The more the better. I think my “most” has been 29! Cropped small, of course.
5 November 2011, 11:50
I love to have lots of pics on a layout.
5 November 2011, 12:04
I’d love to see two pictures on a sketch: one portrait, one landscape. I always have trouble making those two work together. Thanks!
5 November 2011, 12:15
I like 2 or 3 photos on a sketch. That is my ideal, but 1 larger photo would be luxury!
5 November 2011, 12:26
It would be so awesome to win this class! I’m so sketch dependent, I can always use more. =) I usually scrap just one photo on a page, so I’m a 1-photo-sketch kind of girl.
5 November 2011, 12:33
That looks like a great class! Thanks for the chance to win!
5 November 2011, 12:33
OH! Sounds fun! Actually, I probably use 1-2 photos usually, but love to see many options! Right now, I’m mostly into using 1 larger, and a few smaller pics per page! LOVING the paper party btw, THANKS!
5 November 2011, 12:40
I’m always drawn to sketches with three photos of similar size, for some reason.
5 November 2011, 12:44
I really like online classes and have always been a fan of Kelly’s work. Pick me!
5 November 2011, 12:58
This sounds brilliant! I would love to win this! Thanks for giving us the chance :)
5 November 2011, 13:02
I love sketches with 1 – 3 photos. TFS!
5 November 2011, 13:06
I love working off sketches! Its a great way to start off and see where your creative mind can take you! I’m definitely a fan of 2 or 3 photos on a sketch too.
5 November 2011, 13:13
I like 2-3 photos :)
This looks amazing! Thanks for the giveaway! :)
5 November 2011, 13:15
My favourite sketches are those with 2 or 3 photos and 5 max. I tend to take a lot of close up shots so I use a lot of 4×6 photos in my scrapping. This class sounds like so much fun. Thanks for the chance to win!
5 November 2011, 13:21
I’m often a 1-2-3 person…so I reckon something big like 5 would be a challenge :)
5 November 2011, 13:22
Thank you for the opportunity to win. I think 3 are a good amount.
5 November 2011, 13:25
Sounds like fun! Love Kristina’s stuff too so would love to win.
5 November 2011, 13:42
I like two maybe three photos on a page and I love sketches.
5 November 2011, 13:53
Most of the times I have 2 – 3 photos for a layout and would love to see some sketches for them, since I really love sketches as a starting point.
I would really love to win this class!
5 November 2011, 14:05
I’ve been eyeing this class, looks super fun!
5 November 2011, 14:12
I would love to see sketches with lots of little photos on them. I have just taken lots of backyard Bon Fire night photos and would love to include lots on a page as they all look so cool. Thanks for the chance to win.
5 November 2011, 14:43
Yes please! I would love to win a spot in this class!
Thanks for the cchance :)
5 November 2011, 14:57
I don’t know if this is a number — but I’d love to see more layouts with photos of different orientations. You commmented that you don’t enjoy doing landscape and portrait layouts … but I almost always take shots like that! lol. Anyway, I’d love to win!! :)
5 November 2011, 15:24
Thanks for the chance to win this class. I tend to have too many photos of an event to fit on a LO so I love sketches for ways of using lots of photos.
5 November 2011, 15:26
I’d like to see LOs with 2 photos. This class looks great. I like self paced things it’s harder to drop behind!!
5 November 2011, 15:48
2-3 photos of various sizes works for me!
5 November 2011, 16:06
I think anywhere from 1 -3 is good for a sketch!
5 November 2011, 16:22
Nothing ventured nothing gained, although I really only do classes that say Shimelle on!
5 November 2011, 16:54
I’d like to see some sketches with just one photo on, but not in the middle! maybe in one corner or at the side?
5 November 2011, 17:01
I like to use sketches with 2 or 3 photos but I have to admit, I really love your 4×6 Photo Love ideas with lots of photos!
5 November 2011, 17:05
I normally have 3-4 pictures per story, so I like sketches with that many spots for photos. Thanks for a chance to win!
5 November 2011, 17:11
I would love to see 2 or 3 photos. Thanks for the chance.
5 November 2011, 17:23
Thank you so much for this chance to win a spot in such a fabulous class. I need all the inspiration I can get!
5 November 2011, 17:27
Would like to have 6 smaller photos on a sketch so I can get my story told in pictures rather than using a lot of journalling Thanks
5 November 2011, 17:29
The class sounds great – I love using 1, 2 or 3 photos on a page :)
5 November 2011, 18:07
I like 2-3 photos on a LO max… Thanks for the chance,
5 November 2011, 18:17
I’m not so picky about how many photos – but really like sketches with 6×4s as that’s the size I usually print out at. I suppose 2 to 3 photos per sketch is best for me. Thanks for the chance.
5 November 2011, 18:23
I like to include 3-4 but I noticed that I’ve doing a lot of 1-2 photo layouts using the Pretty Paper Party prompts. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome prize.
5 November 2011, 18:37
I must say I always look for at least four photos on a sketch as I rarely have only one photo I’d like to use. Thanks for a chance to win!!!
5 November 2011, 19:32
I like a double page with eight photos. Although I am getting addicted to the one page LO w 3-4 pics in it. Looks like a fun course!!
5 November 2011, 21:24
Wow! Great giveaway! Double page layout with 4-6 photos with a mix of landscape and portrait. 4X6 photos are preferred.
5 November 2011, 22:11
My camera is permanently on the “High speed continuous shooting” mode to keep up with the kids. This means i’m always scrapping multi photo layouts. I would love to win sketchpad. Thanks
5 November 2011, 22:40
I love working from sketches! Looks like a great class. I am always on the look out for 2-page LOs with 6-10 photos. Thanks for the chance!
5 November 2011, 22:41
Oh, I would love to win a spot in this class! I love sketches and I could use the motivation right now!
5 November 2011, 23:13
I like sketches with 6-8 pics. Thanks for the chance to win!
5 November 2011, 23:14
i really need sketches while im working on Lay out. im new at scrapbooking. hope to win a spot. thank you for a chance
5 November 2011, 23:35
Just had a look see and it does look like fun ! So many classes, so little time – I like lots of photos on a page, never just one !
5 November 2011, 23:45
Looks like a fun give away! Love lots of picks and I usually put 4 to 5 pics on a layout.
5 November 2011, 23:54
Oh my second fav scrapping classes
6 November 2011, 00:58
I’m a single photo-layout-kind of girl! Awesome giveaway – thanks Shimelle!
6 November 2011, 01:04
I like sketches with 2-4 pictures. Thanks for the chance to win!
6 November 2011, 01:14
3 photos is my average.
love kelly’s style; thanks for the chance to win.
6 November 2011, 01:42
I would love to win this class. I like to use 2-5 pictures per page
6 November 2011, 01:44
I like to put as many photos as I can get on a LO while still being able to put a good bit of embellishments.
The class sounds amazing! Thanks so much for the chance to win!
6 November 2011, 03:06
I like to use 1-5 pictures! Thanks for the chance to win this class!
6 November 2011, 03:14
The more photos, the better! I love sketches with lots of photo spots, since I take so many photos! Double spreads are great too, since they fit more in! Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome prize!
6 November 2011, 03:41
Hi! Thanks for the chance to win the class, it sounds great! My latest layouts have been of single photos, but i usually prefer packing 3-6 photos in a single page – love the hidden photo spots! So, Thanks again!
6 November 2011, 04:28
I love that with inches, you can fit 3 portrait or 2 landscape pictures on a 12 by 12 inch layout. In holland we have centimeters, and it just doesn’t fit nicely to the edges. I like 2-3 pictures :)
6 November 2011, 05:23
I used to try to get as many photos on a page as I could, but that was when my kids were small and I had lots of pictures from the same day/event. Now, I’m lucky if I have one or two from any one event. Don’t know why that is…hummm. Anyway, I’m really drawn to one 4X6 with two smaller complimenting photos. Thanks, Shimelle, for the chance to win.
6 November 2011, 05:53
Love to see 5 pics on a sketch :)
6 November 2011, 06:44
I usually like to see one. That way, I get an idea for the placement of the photos but I can them stick as many as I like on the page in approximately that space. Perfect!
6 November 2011, 07:49
Yay Sketches!!! Fingers crossed!
6 November 2011, 07:57
I usally like sketches with just one photo… but there are times I love to use four or more pics on one page. Thanks for the chance to win.
6 November 2011, 09:00
I like to see at least 3 to 4 photos on a sketch! Thanks for the chance!
6 November 2011, 09:38
Ooh what a great opportunity! I’ve never done an on-line class, this would be an ideal chance to have a go, fingers crossed XX
6 November 2011, 09:56
Personally I do not have a number of photos that I use on a page. Just depends on how I feel at the moment. Though I have really grown to love one photo layouts here lately!
6 November 2011, 10:07
I like one main photo best, but I often like it to have some supplementary smaller pictures, either with detail, or showing development, or telling the story. Hope I win!
6 November 2011, 10:09
Thanks for a chance to win! The more pictures on a page, the merrier! :)
6 November 2011, 10:16
I love to see sketches with more than one photo as i tend to have problems placing photos when i have more than just the one to work with yet i always have more than one photo of a particular occasion that i’d like to scrap together! :) so inspiration would be great to get my creative juices flowing.
6 November 2011, 10:18
I tend to like 3 photos … there is something right about 3 to me! lol Thanks for the giveaway chance! :)
6 November 2011, 10:22
I love sketches with lots (8) of photos that capture the entire experience/day.
6 November 2011, 10:36
Awesome giveaway! I love Kelly’s classes!
I definitely use multiple photos on my pages…at least 4!
6 November 2011, 10:38
I tend to lean towards sketches with 1 to 3 pictures. I would love to win a spot in this class. Thanks for a chance to win!)
6 November 2011, 10:41
I live 2-3 on a single page myself. I seem to find myself doing 1 photo pages a lot but feel they do not tell the whole story.
6 November 2011, 10:43
OOOH! I took Kelly’s Sketchbook class and loved it, so I’d love to win a seat in this one! I’d like to see sketches with 5 photos, most of my pages feature 1-3 photos and those come pretty easily for me, but trying to fit more photos on creatively is more of a challenge. Thanks for the chance!
6 November 2011, 11:04
i love the jump start a good sketch provides. here’s hoping.
6 November 2011, 11:10
The class sounds wonderful! I like sketches with 2-3 photos because they can be adapted so easily for 1 photo too.
6 November 2011, 11:19
Classe sounds fabulous! Thanks for the chance!
6 November 2011, 11:37
I’m an odd numbers girl, I like to use 3, but sometimes 5 & I have been known to use 11, but 3 is the main one for me :D Thanks for the chance to win a spot in this fabby looking class.
C xx
6 November 2011, 12:31
I like three pictures – one that draws your eye first off, one that shows a different side, and one that closes in on what you are trying to get across.
6 November 2011, 12:58
wow.. look at all the comments. I’d love to win this. I like 1, sometimes 3. thanks for the chance. =)
6 November 2011, 13:03
Hi Shimelle, I love to see at least a couple of photos on a layout. I take so many photos its hard to choose my favourites! Thanks for the chance to win, I am really developing a love of online classes as I’m taking part in your pretty paper party!
Hugs Lynsey x
6 November 2011, 13:09
I generally used 2-3 photos in mine although have been brave and tried some with one which I dont normally do. Thanks for the chance to win x
6 November 2011, 13:09
I’m not prefer an exact number of photos, but normally I managed with an impar number for my pages/sketches.
Thanks for the chance!! =)
6 November 2011, 13:52
I would say 2! Because I find it the hardest to do a LO with 2 photos usually, especially if they’re 1 Portrait and 1 Landscape! :) Thanks for the chance!
6 November 2011, 13:53
Thank you for all the inspirational things you share with us. And thank you for the opportunity to win!
6 November 2011, 13:59
I have gone from 1,2 or 3 photos recently to using loads of photos, 1 large and a dozen small or something like that. I take a lot of photos and if I am remembering a day on a page or DLO I want to get in lots of memories. I am rubbish at using a photo album so if it doesn’t make it to the scrapbook it doesn’t make it into my recorded history!
6 November 2011, 13:59
I was just a 1 photo girl but now I like to use 2-3 photos, thanks for the chance to win :)
6 November 2011, 14:21
OMG this sounds fabulous x
Would love the chance to take part.
6 November 2011, 14:30
I’d like to see more sketches with 3 photos as I think this is harder to scrap well… But mainly I’d like to see more sketches with square photos in all sizes. Thanks for the chance to win!
Mandy McK
6 November 2011, 14:42
OOoh, how exciting. I am a regular two-photos to a page scrapper, so maybe a sketch to break out of that would be helpful? I’m sure I could stretch to three photos….
6 November 2011, 14:47
I would like to see 1 or 2 photos on a sketch. Thanks for the chance to win!
6 November 2011, 15:15
i’d love to see 3-5 photos per sketch. that’s usually the number i put on a layout. =) thanks for the giveaway!!
6 November 2011, 15:45
I love sketches with 3 photos on, as I always seem to default to the same layout of straight across the page, so different ways to display them is always welcome, although I am also loving the “4×6 Photo Love” prompts as we get later in the year, with interesting ways to get so many photos on a single layout!!
6 November 2011, 15:57
wow, thanks for the chance to win! I would like to see a LO with 3 square photos, 1 big and two smaller ones. thanks again shimelle, I love all your projects! hugs from italy! flavia
6 November 2011, 16:16
Class sounds great, love the look of the projects in the sneaks!
I enjoy working with sketches that feature one main photo and 2 or 3 smaller photos.
6 November 2011, 16:22
Thanks for the chance to win this fun class! I personally like to see at least 3 pic in a layout ;0)
6 November 2011, 17:23
I like to see 2-3 photos on a sketch… although sometimes, I love seeing what people do with picture collages. Those fascinate me and I love the look but can’t figure out how to make it work!
6 November 2011, 18:36
I hope it is MY lucky day. Great giveaway. The sketch class sounds fun with lots of inspriation!
Louise
6 November 2011, 20:17
Sounds like a great class! Thanks for the chance to win.
6 November 2011, 20:21
Wow – so much in this class! I like to see at least two photos on a LO
6 November 2011, 20:34
I guess it depends on the pictures and the topic, but usually I have between 6-8 pictures on a two page spread, depending on how I’ve been able to crop the pictures, etc. But I am willing to try something new!… ;)
6 November 2011, 21:28
Thanks for a chance to win the Sketchpad Class. As a new scrapbooker it would be so helpful.
6 November 2011, 21:52
would love to win this class. i like 3 to 5 photos in a sketch.
6 November 2011, 23:08
Sounds like a great class. I would love to win it!
6 November 2011, 23:48
Right now, I am mostly scrapping small, one-photo layouts with layering.
7 November 2011, 06:16
I would love to see 5, but they need to be different sizes.
7 November 2011, 08:51
I love to see sketches with a lot of photos and I perfer at least 3 4×6 on a page.
