Scrapbooking Starting Point
Doing any scrapping this weekend? Here’s a new Scrapbooking Starting Point for you. It’s an easy start with four boxes of paper (patterned or solid) cut to 5.5” square plus one narrow strip across the middle (I used a barcode strip from a sheet of patterned paper).
Now it’s your turn: take this starting point and recreate it (or something similar) with your own stash of papers. You can work in any theme or colour scheme. Finish the page from there and share it with us!
Stop by this evening to see the finished layout and some of my favourites from the last starting point too. (If you’re reading this on Sunday morning, you have a few hours to post your link for last week’s challenge!)

Any tips on printing/organizing photos? I even have some pre-scrapbooked pages done without photos! It seems I can’t keep up now that we have digital. Do I have to come back here to check for comments?

There were only 7 links posted when I was here, but wow, all 7 of the ladies’ layouts were fabulous. I love all the different interpretations…you all did such a great job! I always wonder what to do differently with the 12×12 paper that already comes with 4 squares on it…I usually cut it up for 6×6, but now, I won’t have to if I don’t want to. Thanks all and Shimelle for the inspiration.

I’ve linked mine. Very interesting to see how everyone has taken the page and put their own interpretation on it. But I’m still waiting to see Shimelle’s finished page.

Thanks Shimelle as always for the great inspiration. I love that idea for using the bar code strips…I don’t know why I was throwing those away! A whole set of ready made borders in each collection! Sheesh! Thank goodness you’re here to set me straight. =P

So glad to have you back, was begining to wonder where you were, as it’s not like you to post your going to do something then not do it. Let’s hope the internet behaves itself from now on.

I just ran across your ‘starting points’ yesterday and decided to give one of them a try. I really like this idea and will probably try another one. Here’s the layout I made from this starting point: http://doublehdesign.blogspot.com/2011/09/scrapbook-starting-pointsthe-cupcake.html
