My 8×8 modern album from 2009-2010 has forty page protectors – each of those page protectors has one flat side as a full-size photo and one not-flat side as an embellished scrapbook page. That amount fits perfectly – it’s full, but if laid flat on the table, the album cover sits nicely flat! :)
