shannon's girly journal

shannon's little pink journal of envelopes appeared in the april 2003 issue of creating keepsakes and is still en route a year later.  that, ladies and gentlemen, is what happens when you stop a project to send it to the publishers! but i love the challenge of working with something that has such notoriety before it even appears on the doorstep.

this is pretty much actual size of the entry - the journal is tiny!  it asked us to celebrate 'what we liked about being a girl'.  i am in love with the eyes in that picture!  she looks like a geisha girl only she's...not.
