then i woke up and discovered my own style

Helen's journal had pocket pages and a friendship theme.  Both were inspired by Helen's discovery of an old box in her attic filled with notes and gifts from friends of the past.  This is the front of my pocket -- the purple block has a note to Helen to explain my interpretation of her theme, and opens to a bit of free-verse about having friends around the world. 

Inside the pocket, we were supposed to hide a treasure.  This is the outside of the book.  (well, duh.)
