newbie question

Post by jeniferdwn » Fri Aug 19, 2016 2:26 pm

I am totally overwhelmed by all the posts in the forums. Could someone give me a tip or many tips on how to go about getting started? thanks!

Click on "View new posts" on the top right, it will help you to see what was posted since your last visit. Then, click on the small pink squares near the thread's title, and you'll see the last post you didn't read yet.
Enjoy your reading! :)

Thank you for your reply. I should have been more specific but I was at work and was trying to send the message before I had to leave my desk. My question should have been can someone help me get started with the journal your Christmas. Where should I start or how is the best way to start? I signed up in the middle of the year and when I go and look at the previous years there is just so much stuff.

I haven't done JYC, but if I were you I would ignore all the previous years and start with Shimelle's first prompt from 2015. Assuming that the board works in a similar way to the other classes that I have taken, there should be a thread with all the class materials in it, plus one thread per prompt started by Shimelle for discussion of that prompt. I would ignore all the other threads started by other people for now or you will be overwhelmed.

Hope that helps you get started. Enjoy!
