Has anyone else had encoding issues when trying to open a pdf file? Trying to find out if this is my techy insufficiencies or something up with the file.

Re: pdf encoding
Hiya!
There are usually two things that could be happening: either there was a problem in the downloading process and somehow the file was damaged or there is a bug in your PDF reader and it needs an update.
To make sure you have the latest copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDFs, you can go here:
http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Adobe Acrobat Reader is free for both Mac and PC.
If you are on a Mac and prefer to use Preview (which is already installed in OS X) then run your software update settings to make sure you have the latest version.
If it was a problem downloading the file, they are all archived here on the forum so you can simply delete the corrupted file and download it again.
If neither of those do the trick, please let me know and include as much information as you can - like what operating system, internet browser and PDF reader you are using. Thanks!
